This table was born to be placed in one specific room. It was tailored on one single idea, to be a map, to represent a sequence of spaces. The composition takes therefore place from its own container, the house that hosts it, Villa Mugiasca, of which it explains the plan. Nine tables united to create a singole one representing a house in the house.
23 different marbles are unified all together in a collage of colors and textures, recalling the finishes of the villa itself; precious, composite, luminous, rare.
The base of the tables has been built in stainless steel 2 mm sheets, in order to reflect the composite Venetian style floor and to give the effect of having flying trays of marble, suspended above an equally precious floor.
