The main idea for the villa comes from this primordial principle of enclosing, of creating a protected space. The wall is the element which allows this action, from which space is created. Rammed earth walls enclose the site’s limit and penetrate into it. The intersection of these walls generates at the same time the spaces of the house and four gardens, four different natures: the forest – wild space, the olive grove – the existing nature, the orchard – artificial and controlled nature and the islamic garden – geometrically composed. The house lives through these four different environments; the wall is the element which both separates them, and puts them in relation one with the other through the house. On top of the wall fluctuates a black concrete coffered structure, hosting space for the bedrooms and creating shadow for the gardens.
