The apartment, placed in a 60’s milanese building, pivots on a central purple-blue niche, where all the rooms find a connection. The focus has been set on the combination of existing surfaces with new ones. The old palladiana floor is combined with metal finishes; the kitchen and the wardrobes, made of aluminum panels, are able to reflect the colors of the floor itself, blending in the context and giving at the same time preciousness to the room. The bathroom stands by itself, as a dark yet bright room where a calm atmosphere allows intimacy. Given the owners’ passion for design, a part of the job has been selecting many different pieces of furniture, all contributing to a balanced yet refined atmosphere.
