The apartment in Via Prati was created by combining two separate flats, so the floor plan was completely redesigned.
Starting with the position of the two terraces, a clear division was established between the living area and the sleeping area. The living area has been treated as a continuous open space, where the conversation lounge and the TV lounge are adjacent to each other, flanked by the dining area, which is also in the same space. The kitchen overlooking the dining area has been separated by a glass wall that allows constant communication with the living room but at the same time offers the possibility of isolation.
The use of three different types of travertine, classic, silver and walnut, was the common thread for the creation of the various custom-designed fixed furnishings in the flat. The living room features three different bookcases made with a combination of these three marbles, which are also found in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only variation was made in the master bathroom, where white Carrara marble was chosen.
